About Us

Our Restaurant

Our story.

Bahari, for Swahili it's the sea; for us it's our natural element, it's Home. And it's Home that we've decided to return to, to stay, here in Bari, we've decided to share our origins, enriched by that invaluable wealth of experiences we've had around the world. Bari, our city, has always been a crossroads of peoples, open to the East, Land of the Laurel, Land of the Olive, a treasure trove of ancient cultures, so different from one another, passed down from parent to child, that must be jealously preserved and guarded. In Bari, no one is a stranger, one of the city's most heartfelt sayings, and how could it be otherwise, given that in 4,000 years of history, the capital of Puglia has been inhabited by the most diverse peoples. From the Peucetians to the Greeks, from the Romans to the Byzantines, from the Ostrogoths to the Lombards, to the Saracens and the Normans, each of these peoples has made Bari their home, each of these cultures is Bari. And it is from this awareness that our idea was born, our Bahari, a place where people can meet, breathe the air of home, be proud of their origins, share their experiences, feel part of family. In a world of equals, Bahari defends diversity!
